Brazilian Butt Lift

If you are looking for a more fullness and shape to your buttocks, glutueal recontouring procedures may be right for you. A common way to enhance the appearance of the buttocks is to perform a procedure called the ‘Brazilian Butt Lift’.

The procedure is done by liposuctioning areas of the back and hips and injecting the fat into the buttocks to provide more fullness and shape. The fat grafting technique will not work well if you are too thin and have limited fat deposits. Not all the fat grafted will take and sometimes additional fat grafting sessions may be needed.

The ‘Brazilian Butt Lift’ is performed under general anesthesia in our AAAHC approved outpatient surgery center. The surgery takes several hours to perform. You will need to wear a compression garment for several weeks after the surgery.

For patients not considered candidates for the Brazilian Butt Lift, gluteal implants may be considered. We would be glad to meet with you to determine what options are best suited for you and review the risks, benefits and alternative treatments.
