Evolence

Evolence received FDA approval in June 2008 for the correction of moderate-to-deep skin wrinkles and folds. Evolence is a collagen-based injectable filler manufactured by OrthoNeutrogena, a subsidiary of pharmaceutical products giant, Johnson & Johnson.

Evolence has been called “truly novel” and “a major breakthrough” in the field of non-invasive cosmetics. The technology involved in its creation is extensive, and the results highly satisfying.

We use Evolence as indicated, for the treatment of moderate to severe folds and facial wrinkles, and also for correcting nasolabial folds or “frown lines.” Evolence produces longer lasting results and requires no skin test prior to treatment. Immediate, satisfying results can be achieved in just one visit.

Collagen is highly prevalent in the human body, and the loss of it happens to everyone over time. Situational and genetic factors can sometimes make this inevitable process occur earlier in life, resulting in wrinkles, folds and other imperfections caused by a loss of tissue volume. The solution to this problem is found in Evolence – we simply replace the lost collagen.

What makes Evolence so advanced is its similarity to natural collagen, an attribute made possible by a chemical process called “cross-linking.” The structure of your body's natural collagen has three-dimensional properties, allowing it to provide support and integrity to the tissue. The chemical properties of Evolence mimic this perfectly.

During your brief visit, we can inject Evolence into specific problem areas and correct the signs of aging. The results will have a natural appearance, swelling and bruising will be minimal and you can expect the desired effect to endure for at least 6 months.
