BREAST SURGERY REVISION 32 year old white female who is shown before and 6 weeks following a simultaneous breast augmentation and lift (mastopexy) by Dr. Cuzalina. The patient reports having a previous breast augmentation surgery performed at another facility 15 months prior by a board certified plastic surgeon. The patient sought out Dr. Cuzalina to perform her revision breast surgery as shown here. She is 5ft 8in tall and weighs 165 lbs and had 4 children prior to her original breast surgery. At consultation, she reports that her previous surgeon used 325cc silicone implants in the subpectoral position and that she is dissatisfied with her persistent sagging, wide areola and low implant position. She desired to be “lifted and almost a cup size larger”. Dr. Cuzalina performed a revision simultaneous mastopexy (lift) and re-augmentation exchanging her 325cc implants for 550cc Natrelle (Allergan) style 20 (high profile) smooth round cohesive silicone gel implants. 120cc of her excess skin and breast tissue removed from each breast to further improve shape and longevity of the breast lift. She also underwent a full inverted T style breast lift (mastopexy) along with internal capsulotomies and capsulorraphies to position the new implants higher, with more muscle coverage and better cleavage. This allowed the breast lift and new nipple areola (NAC) position to be much more ideal and as “perky” as the patient desired. Her NAC diameter was also made much smaller by Dr. Cuzalina. The patient reports she went from a 34D to a 34DD following surgery.
