Tulsa Surgical Arts Races for the Cure
This year, the team at Tulsa Surgical Arts was happy to pull on some jogging shorts and get outside for a good cause. Tulsa Surgical Arts sponsored its staff who participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
this fall in downtown Tulsa.
The Race for the Cure aims to raise funds for breast cancer research, working toward a cure for cancer. The race took place at ONEOK Field this year, its new location. Race participants raised a staggering $450,000 dollars for the cause. All told, the race was able to raise nearly one million dollars this year. These generous donations go not only toward research, but also toward screening for early detection, education programs and treatment for patients.
